The series is a pictorial study which analyses the tension between identity and self-representation.

There is a contradiction, a confrontation between the continuous need for identification and the spontaneity of selfies. In that place where the immediacy of a photograph meets the human impulse to build itself, the work rises.

Selfie is the expression of the forces that inhabit those spaces.
